Connected accounts
Choose Connected Accounts in the bottom-left avatar menu to open the connections pageΒ . It manages links between your platform account and external accounts such as GitHub.
Connecting GitHub
- Sign in to the platform account whose orders and wallet you want to keep using.
- Open Connected Accounts and locate GitHub.
- Select Connect and complete authorization on GitHub.
- After returning, check the connection status and linked account name.
Use the actual connection status after returning. A success parameter in the browser URL is not sufficient confirmation.
Disconnecting
Choose Disconnect on the relevant card and confirm, then check that it is shown as disconnected. Before doing so, ensure you still have a usable way to sign in to your platform account.
Only connection types enabled by the platform are shown. After connecting GitHub, you can use that GitHub account to sign in to your existing platform account.
Account connections versus application consent
| Situation | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Connecting GitHub to the platform | Links an external account to your current platform account |
| Signing in to another application with the platform | Uses OAuth to grant that application the identity or business permissions you accept |
Disconnecting an external account is not a way to revoke a third-party OAuth applicationβs permissions. The current public user interface does not provide a separate OAuth consent-revocation list. Contact platform support if you need help with unexpected authorization.
If a connection fails
Check the current platform account, the account signed in on GitHub and whether GitHub integration is enabled. Return to the connections page and refresh the status before starting again. Avoid creating repeated platform accounts to troubleshoot a binding issue.
