Platform and Roles
TD Cloud is a self-hosted marketplace and anonymous transaction platform. A regular user can manage an account, hold TDC, top up, browse products, and create orders. Merchant and developer capabilities are enabled through invitation and review.
Account roles
| Role | Main capabilities | How it is granted |
|---|---|---|
| User | Account, wallet, top-up, marketplace, and orders | Granted on registration |
| Merchant | Store profile, products, orders, and platform-channel settlement | Receive an invitation, submit an application, and pass review |
| Developer | OAuth client, user authorization, and OpenAPI | Receive an invitation, submit an application, and pass review |
An account may hold multiple roles. Administrative privileges do not automatically make an account a merchant or developer.
Why an entry point is missing
Merchant Center and Developer Center are permission-driven routes:
- No application entry is shown before an invitation.
- After an invitation, the application entry appears in the profile menu.
- The entry remains available after submission so the user can track review progress.
- After approval, the application entry disappears and the corresponding center appears in the sidebar.
- A rejected application can display the reason and be edited and resubmitted.
Sign in again or refresh after a permission change. If the route is still missing, contact platform support to verify the account status.
Current boundaries
- Each account may own at most one OAuth client.
- Transaction scopes must bind to the same accountβs active merchant.
- Merchant onboarding uses a simple platform review.
